Perempuan Pekerja Pariwisata dan Pandemi Covid-19
Abstract
Situasi pandemi telah membuat kekacauan dunia. 81 % tenaga kerja di seluruh dunia terpaksa tidak bekerja karena mengalami dampak pandemi. Industri pariwisata, perdagangan, perkebunan, pendidikan, dan sektor lain terpengaruh. Pengangguran berlipat ganda, termasuk para perempuan pekerja. Riset ini merupakan studi dokumentasi yang mencoba memahami dampak pandemi Covid-19 terhadap dunia industri, terutama perempuan pekerja pariwisata.
Pandemi Covid-19 membuat ribuan perempuan pekerja pariwisata di Bali tidak bekerja karena kehilangan pekerjaan, diminta mengambil cuti tanpa dibayar, beralih kepada bidang pekerjaan lain. Pariwisata Bali mengalami kerugian sebesar 9,7 trilyun per bulan dan berdampak pada pengusaha, pekerja, pemerintah dan masyarakat.
