The research background is grounded in the critical role of teachers as facilitators in shaping students’ character, knowledge, and skills through IPS, alongside the various internal and external obstacles that impede efforts to enhance teacher professionalism. A qualitative case-study approach was employed, involving three upper–grade teachers (grades 4–6) at SD Negeri 06 Metro Barat as the main informants. Data were collected via structured interviews and analyzed descriptively.</p> <p>The findings reveal that internal challenges include low teacher motivation—often because teaching is not their primary career choice—limited creativity in designing instructional media, and insufficient time for professional development. External challenges encompass a high administrative workload, rapid curriculum changes, and the abstract nature of IPS, which demands concrete media (such as globes and maps) to facilitate student understanding. Work-related stress arising from administrative demands that exceed teachers’ capacities was also identified as a significant barrier.</p> <p>As recommendations, this study suggests implementing sustained Continuing Professional Development programs, creating engaging and relevant instructional media, providing structured administrative support from the school (e.g., guided supervision and reduced bureaucratic burdens), and establishing teacher learning communities to share best practices. The higher the legal awareness and legal obedience of a country's population, the more orderly the life of society and the state will be. The factor of legal awareness and legal obedience plays an important role in the development of law, meaning that the weaker the level of legal awareness of society, the weaker the legal strictness, conversely the stronger the legal awareness, the stronger the legal obedience factor. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan berdesain deskriptif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas X di MAS Asaasun Najaah tahun ajaran 2023/2024. Pemilihan sampel menggunakan bentuk non random sampling dengan cara purposif sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan nilai siswa dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan matematika siswa laki-laki lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan siswa perempuan, hal ini berdasarkan analisis rata-rata nilai ulangan siswa laki-laki dengan nilai 73,18, sementara rata-rata nilai ulangan siswa perempuan dengan nilai 50,91.</p> Anzora Anzora Copyright (c) 2025 Anzora 2025-06-10 2025-06-10 6 1 46 56 10.54423/jsk.v6i1.191 Strategi Implementasi Multikturalisme dan Kearifan Lokal dalam Pendidikan https://jsk.kodepena.org/index.php/jsk/article/view/200 <p>Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi strategi implementasi multikulturalisme dan kearifan lokal dalam sistem pendidikan Indonesia. Melalui metode studi literatur dengan pendekatan kualitatif naratif, penelitian menganalisis berbagai publikasi akademik dari tahun 2020-2024 untuk memahami kompleksitas pengintegrasian keberagaman kultural dalam konteks pendidikan. Fokus kajian diarahkan pada identifikasi model-model integratif yang dapat mengonstruksi pengalaman pendidikan multikultural yang bermakna, kontekstual, dan transformatif. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan empat domain utama hambatan implementasi: kelembagaan, psikologis, kebijakan, dan metodologis. Temuan kunci menunjukkan perlunya pendekatan holistik yang melibatkan rekonstruksi sistemik paradigma pendidikan, pengembangan kompetensi antarbudaya pendidik, dan penciptaan ruang dialogis yang menghargai keberagaman. Penelitian menawarkan model pengembangan kompetensi antarbudaya yang mencakup kesadaran kritis, empati dialogis, keterampilan reflektif, dan adaptasi kultural.
